Bitcoin Post-Quantum

A report from Chaincode Labs (Anthony Milton and Clara Shikhelman, published in 2025) that surveys the quantum threat to bitcoin end to end: which cryptography is at risk, the difference between hashed addresses and exposed public keys, and the trade-offs among post-quantum mitigations.

It is one of the more comprehensive single documents on the subject and is written for a technical bitcoin audience rather than as advocacy for a specific scheme. The same authors later wrote the CRQC response playbook and presented related work; this report is the broader background analysis.
